GRINDING : Examining labour, hierarchy, discrimination and the body

Grinding is a site-responsive performance in an abandoned silo factory, using industrial architecture to examine labour, hierarchy, discrimination and the body. By grinding rice with site-collected dirt, I explore repetitive labour, exploitation, desire, and how caste, class and gender shape who labours and who benefits as consume it in the end.
